An important role for the UC Quake Centre is one of conducting and co-ordinating research, and helping to ensure the findings reach the most appropriate audiences.
This is an ongoing task and a priority for the future.
Several interesting and important projects are in different stages of development and completion. To find out more, please check our Research Register below.
The Quake Centre research portfolio content is driven by the identified research needs of our industry partners. The portfolio will grow and change over time to reflect the highest priority needs of the Quake Centre partner base.
The Research Register is a summary of relevant research topics identified (by industry) to date and at any given time contains projects that are underway, as well as others that are still being scoped or assessed for potential benefit.
The process of developing and implementing research, and development projects is essentially a two-step procedure starting with a brief expression of interest (EOI), followed by a full proposal which is then subject to the UC Quake Centre Board assessment and approval prior to commencement.
Progress and current findings for projects that are in development will be available on this website soon. Should you have specific interest or queries relating to any of the projects then please contact the Quake Centre (firstname.lastname@example.org).
